I kind of wish I could just scan pages from my notebook and post them here. I’m really happy with the work I’ve been producing lately. I think it has to do with the task’s we’ve been set. They’re constantly challenging us to think differently and it’s so much fun.

One of the projects we got set last week was to re-conceptualise an object. my group got given a straw… with that we ended up making a working record player! well sylus/amplifier. Granted the music that it played did sound more like daleks having sex than actual music but the fact that it actually worked in the first place was exciting enough! as you can see from the picture about we did have to bring everyone down to the bar for the crit and make them cue up and but they’re ear the little funnel. I really want to develop this idea more and make it so it doesn’t need a turntable and can work on it’s own.
